Happy Dance X 2
I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, in case you're wondering. ;)
It's been a rough couple of months for me... Work has been busier than I can't remember when. I spent a whole lot of time looking for another job. I was feeling pretty bad with Mr.Blue being away and getting used to just having one at home. Well... there's a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
This is graduation week. Mr.Blue. Friday. :)
Lil'dd and I are flying out tomorrow. To Texas. Alone. If that doesn't sound like a freeking vacation, I dont' know what does. ...AND I don't have to fight HER to drive the rental car LOL. Thursday is the Airman's Run and Retreat. I cannot wait to see my son again. Friday Ms.Blue and NavyBoy will be there for Graduation. Sunday evening LilDD and I will be flying home.... It will be a wonderful few days, I'm sure.
Now, for more good news.
Another thing I've been busy with is finding a house.
It was a HUGE decision to become a first time home buyer when I'm almost 40. It was an even bigger decision to commit to staying here when all we've done since we got here was talk about moving away. We looked at 1 sunday. UGGH. We looked at 2 yesterday. I think we might have found it. The price is right. 2 story on over 5 acres. A bit of a fixer upper but I can hunt from my front porch in my pjs while I'm drinking my coffee. Yeah. I will lay carpet and paint and remodel... but this time it will be OURS and not a side job for somebody else... ummm.. so we got approved for financing within a couple of hours and put in an offer today. All I can say is I know if it's meant to be it all will fall into place.

I've been doing STUFF.
And now, I'm off to work my 2nd job and then home to try and remember what I need to put in the suitcase to wear for the next 5 days as I waltz across Texas. I was so excited last night I couldn't sleep more than an hour or two...

Enjoy -- enjoy -- enjoy your trip. Big challenge to buy a house like that, might be more of a project at first, but sounds wonderful. And it should give you something to blog about for years.
