Just arrived home. The pictures are $113.00 and the DVD of the day is $49.00 I stayed the the La Quinta Inn ($79.00 a nite), it's nice and about a mile from the gate into base. She really loved the iPod. Her fingernails were a bit dirty, they are not allowed to manicure them. And she kind of saw her own base for the first time when I was there, because they are not allowed to roam around. Riverwalk was quite nice, the USO is right there where you go in to park (Parking $7.00) if you buy your ticket in there it's 2.00 less for you! USO has out al kinds of free pastries, cake, pie, cookies...These kids are so hungry for regular food... My Audra wanted Starbucks coffee more then nything and she is not a coffee drinker! We ate at the first Mexican resturant we saw on our walk in, and it was horrible! Don't eat there...lol I can't wait to see your pictures!
Your very welcome... Riverwalk boat ride is only $4.50 and it's great (6.50 if your buy at the boat, 4.50 in the USO building, which is right next to riverwalk). You will meet your soldier at the BMT building, when you walk in the front door to your right is a desk with maps of the base and just around the corner are small pieces of paper, each with great diretions as to how to get to where you want to go, i.e. riverwalk, SeaWorld yada yada... That 113.00 I paid was also for her graduation book.
