About... Stuff.
I've been so busy.
Most mornings when I'm driving to work, I still think about what I'm going to blog about today. I've been doing that for years now, and even though I don't make time to write most days, it still goes through my mind.
Ms. Blue and NavyBoy bought a car together. A brand new 2008 ford somethingorother with exactly 12 miles on it. 6 days later they smashed the car up killing a deer and the car is in the shop. OUCH. As a result, Ms.Blue won't be home next week like she originally planned.
Mr.Blue is about to graduate from TechSchool. He still hasn't heard if he'll be allowed home for RecruiterAssistance for 10 days like Ms.Blue did. His paperwork just hasn't come through so we're guessing he'll do a quick drive-by since he plans to rent a car and drive from Texas to his new base in Arkansas in a couple weeks.
Lil-DD didn't get to meet with the BlueRecruiter. The guy didn't show up and we haven't been home to reschedule.
I took a Friday off to go to a conference 2 weeks ago. It was nice to get out of dodge, but not as nice as the 4 day holiday weekend we spent up in Hot Springs, AR with friends. Saturday we went to the horse races, oh gosh, what fun that turned out tobe. I'm hooked. Then Sunday we went to all the go-kart tracks and rode go-karts. What a way to spend Easter weekend now that the kids are all grown. Not bad at all.
Work sucks. Just plain sucks. Even the raise doesn't seem to be helping. I look in the mirror and I see one very unhappy person. Other than that though, I'm hanging in there.
Will try to do better about writing. Mostly I'm just counting the days until Lil'DD is old enough to get out on her own and I can GO. Somewhere. Anywhere. Just Away from here.

Glad that you are ok over there. Hang in there. It won't be too much longer.
I am headed to the Virgin Islands for a much needed vacation tomorrow, so I will have a drink for you and think about you. :)
