No and Hell No.
Just got back late last night from 4 days in Peachtree City< GA. It was heavenly.
Ms.Blue flew in yesterday a couple hours before we got home for a week's leave.
I'm turning 40 tomorrow. (Thursday)
Late last night, road weary and confused and having had to change time zones again, Ms.Blue dropped a bombshell on me. (she's 20 now...)
Mom. she said.
No, I'm not pregnant. She said.
We want to get married in March. she said.
Next month. she said.
She isn't acting like a woman in love.
She hasn't told me this is the man of her dreams.
She isn't saying he's the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
She said. I'll get 1200 more a month.
Oh No.
Hell No.
I am so not liking this right now.

WOW! You're right, that's quite a bombshell!
BTW, Happy Early Birthday!
Been there and done that with my son. You're right and the marriage did not last, which would have been bad enough, but then they thought they needed a child and that's more of a committment than 1200 a month. Your daughter may not start a family that soon, but they do need more of a foundation than that to get married.
Hard sometimes to see a trainwreck about to happen and can't do a thing.

Dang Kim. What a surprise for you I am sure. Not a way to start off a marriage for sure. When will our kids realize that.
happay belated birthday. hope you had a nice one. oh man as for your daughter that would be scarey. did you try talking to her about it or maybe you should jsut sit back. man that is one of those damn if you do damn if you don't.
