Pissed on.. or pissed off?
I made the wrong decision... staying here that is.
I guess I'm going to have to actually quit in order to see that great raise they finally promised me... I drive to work in the mornings now so damn mad at myself... why on earth did I think things were going to change here? (sigh).
The good news is... Ms.Blue will be here with me in a matter of hours now. I'm hoping the distraction will help...

Dang girl. That really sucks. Sorry that they did not go through with the raise yet.
Another job will come up and you'll know better next time.

You made the best decision you could at the time.
You could always let the other place know if their 'new' person doesn't work out you are absolutely still interested and sorry you let the chance go previously.
