Faxing Resumes.
I've been fretting and stewing all weekend over having to work with this new broad combines with the fact that it's been a whole month today since I asked my boss to consider giving me a raise and I've heard nothing.
The new girl was 45 minutes late this morning.
She's taking tomorrow off (and has yet to work a full freeking week)
I'm in a nasty horrid mood this morning.
Not sure if it's PMS or not but I'm faxing resumes.
I did tell the boss what happened last week.

I dont blame you.
Surely there is someone out there that wants an employee that will actually do their job, and they will find a gold mine in you.

I'm thinking that they are going to receive exactly what they deserve.
1 Paid old loser Sec. for hours not worked, etc, etc
2 You did all the work, she did Nadda
3 They hire a new useless Sec and she's picking up where the old one left off.
4 No raise for you, last straw.
5 You find new job and quit
6 They are screwed due to their own incompetence.
Good for you for looking else where. This is so not good for you. Your bosses sound like mine ..a bunch of losers hiring other losers.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire... I'm thinking the first step might be to have a good heart to heart with the powers that be around there. Let them know ALL THE ISSUES with the previous sec (including the poop!) and then point out that this new sec seems to be travelling down the same path.
There is something wrong with getting paid 40 hours for 20... taking a day off the week after you are hired and coming in 45 minutes late when you are a new hire. And the fact that they are condoning this is sickening.
YES look for a new place to work in the meantime... but maybe you can 'fix' things by getting the new chickie 'let go' and getting someone professional hired.
It's not PMS, It's legitimate and justified. Good luck, Kim!!
